2007 Texas Food & Fuel Expo & Convention Report ~ July 18 - 20, San Antonio, TX

The 2nd year for the Texas Food Fuel Expo & The Latin American Food & Beverage Expo, produced by Texas Grocery and Convenience Association (TGCA) and Texas Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association (TPCA) with the continued alliance with the Latin American Food & Beverage Expo, was a huge success.
The Expo also offered several networking opportunities from Golf & Clay Tournaments to a Casino Party and the Welcome Night Gala. There were several educational opportunities with an Opening Session that was an inspiration to all attendees.
An unscientific poll of attendees at the Expo found overwhelming agreement this year's event was the best market place for products, services, and supplies for all segments of the C-Store, Petroleum Marketing, Supermarket, & Grocery Store Industries in Texas.
The exhibitors felt the show was a “big hit” with an abundance amount of orders taken on-site plus countless outstanding leads and already a number of them have been confirmed.
An Exhibitor Pre-Sell Meeting for the 2008 Texas Food & Fuel Expo was held prior to the Opening of the show on Thursday, July 19 with next year’s Expo already 52% SOLD OUT!!

Golf Tournaments
Each year TGCA hosts two annual golf tournaments - the Spring Swing Golf Tournament is held in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex area April/May and the Fall Food Classic held in the Austin area in mid-September.
The proceeds from annual tournaments go to fund TGCA’s Political Education Committee (PEC). Golf Tournaments are an ideal opportunity to network with your industry peers, developing and strengthening relationships. Players enjoy the camaraderie of these networking events, as well as some of the most beautiful courses in Texas.

YED ~ Young Executives Division
