GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
One of the greatest advantages of TGCA membership is government relation’s representation. TGCA represents member interest before the state legislature and stage agencies that govern our industry. Lobbying efforts of TGCA & TALR (Texas Association of Lottery Retailers) have saved members of the Texas grocery industry millions of dollars.

On the national scene TGCA works with the Food Marketing Institute, the National Grocers Association, and the National Association of Convenience Stores, who represent the industry in Washington D.C.

Outlook for the 80th Legislature
The 80th Regular Session Ends. The next session is schedule January 2009.
