The YED is designed to involve the next generation of leaders in our industry. YED is a leadership committee of TGCA, and provides the opportunity for young executives to network with their peers from every segment of the industry as well as mentor others who have established their leadership in the organization. YED members are involved in fund raising for the TGCA, assisting in events like the Spring Swingand Fall Classic Golf Tournaments, as well as the Texas Food & Fuel Expo.
Monies raised at these events are used for scholarships and the Political Education Committee fund. The involvement in these events allows networking with people from all aspects of the industry.
The YED is one of the keys to the growth and success of the TGCA. To belong to YED, the individual company must be a member of TGCA. Members are motivated individuals looking to advance to upper management positions, or operate the family business.
